Workshop on Artificial Neural Networks in Pattern Recognition

ANNPR 2026 in Milan will continue the long successful sequence of ANNPR workshops: 2003 (Florence), 2006 (Ulm), 2008 (Paris), 2010 (Cairo), 2012 (Trento), 2014 (Montreal), 2016 (Ulm), 2018 (Siena), 2020 (Winterthur), 2022 (Dubai) and 2024 (Montreal). The series of ANNPR workshops has acted as a major forum for international researchers and practitioners from the communities of pattern recognition and machine learning based on artificial neural networks.

Call for Special Sessions
1 April 2026: Deadline for Special Sessions
ANNPR 2026 welcomes proposals for the special sessions research track. These sessions intend to highlight timely, and emerging topics for the relevant audience. Papers will be published in proceedings in the Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence (Springer).
When submitting a proposal, please provide the topic, the session chair, ensure it is focused, appropriate to the workshop theme, and a list of potential speakers.

ANNPR 2026 invites papers that present original work in the areas of neural networks and machine learning oriented to pattern recognition.
